PV day 5.

I spent my last full day in PV at the beach. I had to try several spots to find a place without thumping music but was able to find a nice shady spot. On the way back to the apartment I found a cafe serving coffee and gourmet churros.  The best churros ever!  I opted for the vanilla cream, fresh strawberries, toasted coconut and whipped cream.  Total sugar overload!

In tbe evening I went to the weekly Wednesday night art walk in el centro. Some very impressive art.

PV day 4.

Today I took a bus to the Jardin de Botanica about 40 minutes from PV. The bus route followed the jagged coastline at high speeds and was a bit uncomfortable. The gardens were beautiful with many hiking trails, exotic plants and wildlife.

PV day 3.

This morning I hiked up the mountain to Mirrador de la Cruz. It was a steep climb up with many stairs and felt good to get my heart rate up. Puerto Vallarta- day 2.

I spent several hours swimming, reading and just being. In the evening I walked along the Malecon at sunset.
