This morning I hit the bike shop to fix a broken shifter cable and then an oil change. Then a short drive to Alamogordo to Oliver Lee BLM campground outside Alamogordo. I took a short bike ride up the canyon to the visitor center. The mountains you see are 4000 feet up from the floor of the valley where I am camping!
