Yesterday I drove to Silver City to visit the mother of a dear deceased friend of mine. Barbara Good offered me her guest room and took me downtown to meet her daughter Julie who lives in a converted gas station.
This morning I moved my camper to Julie’s place downtown and drove up to see the Gila Clif dwellings. What an amazing area! The Gila terrain is rocky, jagged and forested. The town has a cool hippie vibe and is small and quaint.
