Flagstaff.












I spent the last three days at Canyon Vista campground by Lake Mary south of Flagstaff. I completed a challenging ride around Mormon Lake, visited Walnut Canyon, national Monument, which has many historic indigenous dwellings, hiked  and explored downtown Flagstaff.  

Flagstaff is situated at 7000 ft., is very clean and has great roads. It’s  a beautiful town with a dramatic mountain backdrop, several nearby lakes, grassy fields surrounded by high elevation pines, and has a very outdoorsy vibe. I am told that it is a sister city to Asheville and I see many similarities.
