Monument Valley.

Today I visited Monument Valley. I’ve driven through this desert before, but did not do the scenic drive going through Monument Valley. The Navajo tribe has created a 17 mile drive that goes through the park. I dropped the camper in the parking lot and made my way through. Very dusty and very beautiful.

Tonight I am camping on the San Juan river just below Mexican hat rock. Literally on one side of the camper is Mexican hat about 500 feet up and on the other side is the San Juan river about 100 feet down. It is very isolated and very majestic.
