Back in Asheville!

I've been back in Asheville for the last month, and it's been wonderful.  WNC is such a great place to come home to.  The mountainous landscape is so lush and green and welcoming.  During the month I have ridden over 600 miles on my bike, including the annual Hot Doggett ride for the first time.  Also the bike club organizes a ride for every stage of the Tour de France, and I joined many of those as well as kept up daily with the actual tour which began on July 1st.  I've also enjoyed reconnecting with friends, spending time downtown and listening to some live  music.

All that being said, it's time to hit the adventure road again!  This time I will be heading to Morelia MX.  This area of Mexico is in the "high desert" region in the center of the country and sits at around 6000 feet elevation.  As usual, I don't have any firm plans during my visit but will let the adventure unfold as it will.
