Last night I celebrated Mexico’s Independence Day with Lisa, Joe, Mike, Dexter, Nigel and Scott. We enjoyed an authentic Mexican meal at Cuish and then to Madero to see and hear the Governor re-enact and proclaim Mexico’s independence from New Spain. This was the 213th year of the “Grito” or the “shout”.

El Grito.
