Today we rode out of Mengen after meeting Mark, who we haven’t seen for about a week, for morning coffee. We stopped at a bike shop in Riedlingen and the owner said our route was impassable. He suggested a series of towns higher up from the river to get to Ulm. After an ice cream stop we followed his route which took us through several small villages along nice bike paths. We arrived in Ulm at 5pm and are camping with our first Warm Showers host. We took a train into the city center to meet Donna for dinner. Are the cathedral Ulm is the tallest church in the world!
