I woke and made an omelette with croissant. After some needed bike maintenance I decided to ride the 6 miles across the border to Ruse, Bulgaria. Ruse was by far the nicest brown in Bulgaria that I visited. It has many wide open pedestrian areas, fountains and memorials. After a ride around town I stopped by a few shops, had lunch and spent the last of my Bulgarian Lei at a bakery before heading back for a nap.
