Today I rode out solo after Mitch to warm up slowly and have a second cup. The ride was enjoyable and I made good time rolling at my pace stopping at 20 mile intervals. The route has followed state roads through Romania up on a plateau for days now. Through small villages with mom and pop type stores scattered along the way. The roads are very bumpy in spots because of wear and it’s hard to get a good pace. Near the end of todays ride I met up with Mitch and we crossed the Danube for the last time and back into Bulgaria to spend the night in Silistra. We’re staying at was once a grand hotel, the Danube resort and spa. Still a step up from what we’ve had.
