Day 6 - Orleans to Chatillon Sur Loire.
Today was a long 65 miles. Our longest ride yet. We passed many quaint villages and we ate, pastries, and drink coffee at each of them. We stopped for lunch in Gien and then rode through a heavy rain for about 10 km until things cleared up. We are at a small campground on the bank of the Loire for the night. Dinner tonight was a communal potluck of cheese, bread, canned fish, fruit, vegetables, and hummus. Delightful way to end the day.
